APOE Case Study: structural shift toward a reference state
Using a full 255-alpha-carbon comparison with no outlier pruning, APOE4 (Alzheimer's) wildtype aligned to APOE2 wildtype with an RMSD of 20.108 Å.
The InfinitShade APOE4 variant aligned to APOE2 wildtype with an RMSD of 13.417 Å, representing an approximately 33.3% reduction in structural deviation toward the APOE2 reference state.
